Today we celebrated Luke's 1st birthday. Only one year ago we were meeting him for the first time. Melanie did a great job planning his party. Since it was brunch, there were three yummy breakfast casseroles, pigs in a blanket, fruit salad, pretzle buttons, and blue cupcakes. It all tasted wonderful and the decorations were so cute!
Luke wasn't feeling his best today (even ran a fever part of the day), but managed to put on a good face for most of the party. Here's some 1st birthday pics. Which is your favorite?
Luke wasn't a big fan of his cupcakes. Much too sweet for his taste. He rather have just stuck to fruit. Such a healthy little fella.
It was a good trip... only wish we could have stayed longer.
