Holidays 2015

We thoroughly enjoyed the holidays this year.  We didn't have any family portraits taken, but I managed to get a few cute ones of Matilda for Christmas cards.

We spent Thanksgiving visiting family.  We did our traditional back-to-back lunches Thanksgiving day - first at my parents' house, then at Jason's.  We had turkey the next day at my Grandpa's house at well.  Needless to say, we ate well.

Matilda especially enjoyed spending time with her cousins.  Two weeks after Thanksgiving, we headed to Dallas for the Dallas marathon that Jason was running, so she got to see her cousins again.  Since we weren't spending Christmas together, we opened our presents with them early.

Matilda had a lot of present opening events this year - five in fact.  Before we headed back out of town for Christmas, she opened our presents to her.  She got a teepee, slippers, and a robe.  :)

Christmas week was pretty relaxing.  It was warmer than normal (in the mid 80's all week).  After a trip to TSC with my parents, Matilda took a dip in Jason's aunt and uncle's pool.

We spent Christmas Eve over at Jason's parents house.  Matilda had fun playing outside on her "bike" and then we opened presents (again).  My parents joined the festivities this year as well.

After my dad got the BBQ started Christmas morning, we opened more presents with my parents.

After Matilda's nap, we headed back to Jason's to spend the afternoon with his extended family.  Matilda had a few more gifts to open (crazy, right?), we ate some lunch, then after some quiet time for Matilda, we came back over a white elephant gift exchange.

Like I said, we really had a great time seeing family over the holidays.  And Matilda made out like a bandit.  She is one lucky kiddo!
