Luke's Baptism

This weekend we headed to Dallas to celebrate this little dude's baptism.  Saturday evening we just hung out at the house and enjoyed a wonderful dinner prepared by Trey.  Seriously... it was fancy.  And good.

All Luke got was pureed carrots.  I bet he was jealous.  Or should have been if he knew any better.

Mmmm.... pureed carrots.

It's amazing that suppertime is this entertaining for everyone when there's a baby around.

Sunday morning we headed to the church for the big event.

After church we headed to Melanie's parents house for a delicious lunch and birthday celebrations.

John's birthday is the 11th and Dad's is the 20th.

Before heading back to Houston, we had to stop at one of Jason's favorite restaurants to grab burgers to save for dinner.  We even packed them on ice so we could reheat them when we got home.

Jason made me take a picture.  This was not my idea.

Ha! Apparently they are expanding. My brother and sister-in-law live in the area and said there is at least one more around now.
